OVERVIEW
Join our tight-knit, creative-driven and Effie-award-winning Strategy team! 22squared is seeking a creative and passionate Senior Strategist.

This is a client-facing role supporting a growing, fast-casual challenger brand, as well as new business and project clients as they arise. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, innovative, and eager to tackle business challenges and creative opportunities. This position requires a strong foundation in consumer research, brand planning, and cross-channel strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop presentations, strategic POVs, campaign briefs and trend reports to inspire and support creative and client decisions
  •        Manage qualitative and quantitative research from planning through presentation
  • Partner with clients, demonstrating an understanding of their business challenges and realities, category dynamics, and consumer insights
  • Collaborate early and often with comms, media, creative and analyticsstriving for integrated thinking and problem solving
  • Contribute to agency intelligence through culture mining, primary research, and industry-relevant thought leadership
  • Push for ideas and strategies that challenge what is and dare to go after what if
  • Bring both critical thinking and contagious enthusiasm to every project and opportunity
  • Be both a challenger and a champion for the creative work, all while respecting the creative process and earning trust from creative teams
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for up-and-coming strategists and interns 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in an agency environment, with a focus on brand planning, account planning or creative strategy
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods and data storytelling
  • Experience with cross-channel creative strategies (Including digital and social)
  • Confident and effective communicator, able to challenge and champion ideas
  • Passion for trend-watching and cultural insights
  • Strong relationship management skills – both internal and client-facing
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a dynamic environment
