OVERVIEW

At 22squared, creative Project Managers are accountable for leading and managing internal workflows and delivery for client campaigns and projects. This includes working in partnership with team leads on strategic communication, creative resourcing, compliance, and schedules to ensure the timely flow of creative. Project Management acts as the key internal liaison between Account Management, Creative/Design, Production, Brand/Media Strategy and Senior Staff ensuring continuity, quality and accuracy of all projects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to plan, manage and execute creative projects strategically from beginning to end
  • Knows/understands all facets of internal production capabilities & agency processes
  • Develops strong relationships with internal team members at all levels
  • Sets clear expectations with the team for their role in delivering the project
  • Appropriately aligns resources against project needs – handles forecasting of hours/projections for projects
  • Develops and manages schedules that accurately reflect the scope of the work
  • Orchestrates/manages internal client team communications and coordinates integrated status meetings.
  • Consistently sets clear expectations for tasks and deliverables - can delegate appropriately
  • Communicates changes to plan, and implications for team, clearly and in a timely manner
  • Resolves and/or escalates project issues in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for obtaining quality control and legal input before presentation or production

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in advertising/marketing at an agency or internal group
  • Project Management experience with integrated, creatively-led projects
  • Project Management Software experience
  • Solid track record of successfully managing projects from start to completion
  • Able to lead an effective and efficient discussion, keeping team on track
  • Able to think strategically about workflow steps and internal processes
  • Organized, but flexible and able to change direction quickly
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-task, organization and follow up skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Exhibits strong listening skills with the ability to tactfully communicate position on relevant issues
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Confident problem anticipation and resolution – willingness to have difficult conversations
