Position SUMMARY

Responsible for the activation and maintenance of National broadcast business. Must be able to provide supervision to the national activation staff and manage the daily activities of the national activation process for the assigned clients.  Also responsible for developing and growing the talent and staff while maintaining flawless quality control. 

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for evaluating, negotiating and activating all mediums in addition to sponsorship opportunities for National broadcast business.
  • Responsible for negotiating the lowest possible rates and added value on behalf of our client’s for key national clients.
  • Insures the highest level of stewardship while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Stays up to date on all technology trends.
  • Media buys executed flawlessly following the 22 process.
  • Analyze the data against the defined campaign success metrics.
  • Help the planning team research and develop advanced knowledge and platforms, technology services with an eye toward what’s happening next.
  • Help to develop Request for Proposals and field any vendor questions surrounding the RFP with planning.
  • Builds a positive image of the Agency with vendors as well as internally with other departments.
  • Provides ongoing feedback and teaching opportunities to junior media staff.
  • Manages hiring, staff and workflow for key team members. 
  • Manages cascading for agency/department information for the team.


Required Experience, Education,
Demonstrated Skills, and Abilities

o    10+ years of National broadcast buying experience

o    Strong and extensive vendor relationships

o    Strong negotiating skills

o    Strong mathematical and analytical skills

o    Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

o    Experience managing a team

o    Proficient on all digital/ traditional media computer applications a plus (Comscore, Nielsen) Word, Excel and Powerpoint/Keynote
