Overview

22squared Tampa is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join the Account Management team for a digitally-focused, direct response client. Candidates will be responsible for supporting all facets of creative projects and campaign reporting. The position assumes digital marketing fundamentals, project management, and general office/team administrative support. The position requires good written and verbal communication skills, detail-orientation, ability to adapt to many types of personalities and the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Learning and mastering basic agency processes, understanding the roles of each department in the agency and how they are best communicated with
  • Developing positive integrated team relationships, treating people with respect and acting with maturity
  • Build an understanding of the client brand and product offerings
  • Attend meetings, take notes, write internal/external meeting recaps & emails
  • Schedule internal and client calls and meetings As needed, perform various functions for client meetings: order lunch, set up and clean up after meetings, make copies, provide agendas, take notes, assist IT in room setup
  • Coordinate and help lead status report weekly meetings and documentation, partnering with integrated team members to understand and track all projects
  • Monitor client industry and competitive environment to stay on top of relevant topics and trends, share and educate client and agency teams
  • Support team in project management to develop an understanding of the creative process; evolve over time into taking on direct project ownership
  • Open and track jobs via our internal project management system and assist with billing processes
  • Ensure that creative is within guidelines and client-approved before distribution
  • Assist team in assembling reports on campaign performance
  • Support account and media teams by reviewing and preparing documents for digital and offline creative trafficking
  • Keep manager informed on important client and internal team updates

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four-year university or college required
  • 1-2 years AAE experience in advertising, digital marketing or communications required (either through internships or work experience)
  • Cursory working knowledge of agency departments’ capabilities and processes (social, media planning and buying, analytics, etc)
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Basic presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to learn project management and reporting tools
  • Experience using Microsoft Office/Keynote/Google Office Suite and the internet for research required
