The Data and Business Intelligence Manager provides expertise in business intelligence and data governance, including: data mapping and ETL, reports, dashboards, vendor imports/exports, data architecture, QA/QC, and all other agency and client data-related initiatives.This work may include completing data analysis, developing and maintaining imports and exports, building reports and dashboards, ensuring data quality, troubleshooting issues, creating documentation, and fielding user questions/feedback. This is a key strategic role with a high level of visibility in the organization.



  • Work with a variety of stakeholders and data sources from across the organization and beyond to draw strategic conclusions
  • Identify departmental challenges/needs through employee and client communication
  • Ensure that collected data is relevant and exhaustive while also interpreting the analytics results
  • Build, load, map and monitor data sources from an array of media and business landscapes
  • Support dashboard initiatives through quality assurance and user acceptance testing
  • Audit data and put remedial solutions in place, while also training end users on how to use it properly
  • Research and analyze areas of interest to the company which will allow the company to gain a competitive advantage in the business intelligence landscape
  • Managing data resources
  • Building automation and queries
  • Implementing quality control procedures and guidelines
  • Document and catalog findings for future reference or additional investigation
  • Gather information for project-related research; analyze that information
  • Participate in management meetings related to reporting
  • Implement the recommendations of intelligence reporting and management
  • Prioritize, plan, and track project progress
  • Develop an understanding of each department's role within the company


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Data Analytics, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Statistics, Economics or a degree in any quantitative field. 3-5 years business intelligence or data analytics experience in any of the following platforms: Datorama, Microstrategy, SpotFire, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Lift361, or Domo



Highly collaborative and analytical, excellent communication skills, drive to always learn, ability to read a room, problem-solving


Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of database management and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience working with statistical analysis software (Python, R, SAS, etc.)
  • Preferred languages: Javascript, SQL, R, Python, Spark, Scala
  • Experience with Agile as a project management approach and related software (JIRA)
  • Understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem


Preferred skills

  • Experience with Agile as a project management approach and related software (JIRA)
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (S3, Glacier, EC2, EMR, and Redshift)
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or MBA
  • Experience with SAS, Python, Salesforce, Krux
