Contract Management
  • Oversee the life cycle of agency contracts, including intake of contract review requests, status tracking, facilitation of negotiation, signatures, authorizations, renewals and terminations
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status
  • Review and prepare documents for signature, including ensuring version control 
  • Coordinate and track legal department work flow, including
    • maintaining detailed and organized paper and electronic files, including the agency contract database and contract audit files containing original contract, correspondence, amendments, payment schedules, SLAs and the like.
    • Scanning, copying and filing of documents
    • Arranging and scheduling meetings
  • Format, type and proofread documents and correspondence
  • Other contract management and coordination duties for legal department, as needed.
  • Growth opportunity: additional responsibilities to include negotiation of certain agreements, assist with due diligence materials and corporate record retention procedures, as appropriate

Compliance Management

  • Assist with development, implementation and management of compliance programs, policies, and practices, such as vendor management, third party tools tracking, SOC 2 Type 2, etc., to promote compliance with contractual, cybersecurity, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and track progress of implementation of vendor management and other policies
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal compliance management duties and questions
  • Support Compliance Committee and business departments in developing and conducting training and updating policies and procedures, as appropriate
  • Support Compliance Committee with conducting periodic internal audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed
  • Keep informed of industry changes, trends and best practices
Additional Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of compliance management, contract management, and/or legal assistance required
  • Proven track record in the spearheading implementation of organization wide process improvements, compliance and operational excellence
  • Past experience working in a mid-sized privately held company is strongly preferred.  Huge plus if past experience was a creative environment (advertising, marketing, entertainment, media, broadcast, high tech, etc.)
  • Huge plus if experience with data privacy and security, including familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2, data mapping, etc.
