OVERVIEW

This position is a new position within Trade School, 22Squared’s new content division. At Trade School, we believe content is a powerful tool to solve business problems through creativity, innovation and connection. The Senior Content Producer is an integral team member, helping bring that vision to life across clients, internal and external productions. The Senior Content Producer role is half maker, half production expert. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating content and is well-versed in social media channels, culture and advertising. You are a creative in a producer’s body. Or a producer in a creative’s body. Either way, you’re motivated, entrepreneurial, optimistic and relentless in the pursuit of making amazing content. The Senior Content Producer partners with Partnership and Creation folks, from ideation to delivery. Not only do you know every detail of your project, but you also participate in the ideation and concepting of the content. You will wear many hats and create a ton of content.

 

REQUIREMENTS

5-7 years of experience in a creative agency or similar environment managing a range of production types, sizes and complexities.

Must be a maker as well as producer and skilled at one or more of the following: video, editorial, photography, retouching, illustration, music, sound design, lighting, set design, set building, etc.

Technical and creative proficiency with camera, lighting and grip equipment.

Ability to work as a sole content creator or as part of a team.

Experience and background to manage a production from start to finish.

Experience sourcing and managing external creative and production partners.

Knowledge of and adherence to professional production and set etiquette.

Ability to run a nimble, fast-moving production without losing sight of details

Passion for and keen understanding of social media and cultural trends and technology

Experience across various content creation types ranging from longform video to product focused photography and everything in between.

Solid negotiation experience and skills, especially with third-party contracts.

Excellent internal and client communication and presentation skills.

Experienced in financial management of day-to-day projects while simultaneously understanding the overall importance and impact to the business.

Natural ability to motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment exuding confidence, while being calm, motivating and a pleasure to work with.

Passion for educating other Crew members about production and dedication for training / mentoring fellow associate producers and producers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Ideating and concepting creative solutions to business problems.

Using creative skillset to create content from ideation through production.

Sourcing and managing large number and variety of props.

Maintaining and organizing photo and video equipment.

Researching and cultivating positive relationships with production and creative partners.

Being a resource to the agency for developing content production solutions and strategies.

Writing bids, estimates, statements of work, scope proposals; composing project and production timelines, staffing plans and budgets.

Working to stay within the agreed-upon budget, providing timely notification to the team for changes to the budget.

Conducting pre-production meetings.

Reviewing and approving all production-related invoices.

Advising collaborators in all content production-related matters with creative solutions for improving quality.

Managing multiple projects as needed.

Acting as a primary point of contact between the client, team, and vendors.

Delivering solutions to drive consensus for problems in a professional and timely manner.

Executing project plans according to established procedures, channels, and expectations.

Creating a positive, team-oriented environment that leads to exceptional work.

Working with Partnership and Creation leads to define appropriate resources for projects.
